Food For Thought!
Did you know, live and frozen fish food are an excellent source of beneficial nutrients for your fish? You may also be surprised to find fish often enjoy having a variety of foods introduced to their diet. Feel free to experiment with live or frozen, animal or vegetable foods and watch their reaction. You will soon learn they do have preferences!
In addition, tiny bits of frozen kelp, frozen or freeze dried algae will satisfy tropical fish appetites. Also keep in mind, on occasion, even meat eating fish enjoy plants and vegetables. For example the plecostomus is a known vegetarian and only eats plant material.
Interesting enough, what we've found to hold true for humans also works for fish . . . veggies are good for fish too!
